The USS Enterprise is under attack! Oh, yeah, that’s not something new. The ship has experienced numerous attacks since the beginning of the movie, but nothing has created massive impact towards the ship compared to those done on the recent series entitled Star Trek Beyond. In this movie, the USS Enterprise is suffer from massive strike so that the ship is divided into two big parts and most of the crews are captured by aliens of unknown force.
Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), Commander Spock (Zachary Quinto), Leonard McCoy (Karl Urban), Nyota Uhura (Zoe Saldana), Ensign Pavel Chekov (Anton Yelchin), Montgomery Scott (Simon Pegg) and Hikaru Sulu (John Cho) and the rest of their teams have to work harder this time. Indeed, the crews have prepared themselves for any sudden great change in space. However, this time they face something truly shocking. One fine day, their ship is attacked by the unstoppable wave of aliens of unknown origin. The attack is so massive that the USS Enterprise is divided into two big parts and forces the crews to flee and save themselves in capsules. Unfortunately, the power of gravity has forced them to enter a new strange planet; something that forces them all to explore and save themselves in the uncharted territory. Captain Kirk and his team members have to work together with new elements they meet in the forced expedition to reunite his crew since there is no meaningful communication devices available to make it so. Only that way they can go back to Earth and start new days with the new ship of the USS Enterprise.
Similar to other series on the Star Trek, Star Trek Beyond is truly captivating and entertaining. The casts, the team members, I mean, seem to provide a miniature to the complexity of human interaction. Justin Lin, the director, has successfully transformed the environment of the USS Enterprise into a small laboratory in which numerous characters and personalities exist, and drama and action enrich the experience of the inhabitants. The spirit of friendship and teamwork are among notable features of the Star Trek, which makes it suitable for all ages, including youngsters. Over times, the story of the Star Trek the series is quite the same. There is always cruel characters with ugly faces and cruel intentions. This time, Captain Kirk and his crews have to face Krall (Idris Elba) and Manas (Joe Taslim) and their gang to stay alive. Otherwise, they will perish.
