Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is a former special forces soldier who spends his after-service years protecting the weak. A paid service. Then he meets Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) who changes his boring life. Everything turns different since he is diagnosed cancer. Depressed, he leaves Vanessa to get treatment. Instead of being treated for cure, Francis (Ed Skrein) changes Wade into mutant having ability to cure himself in unprecedented speed. However, the medication has turned Wade into a man with ugly face.
His current being forces him to leave Vanessa who has been waiting for him. After meeting Weasel, his best friend, Wade decides to wear costume as a disguise in pursuing Francis. The name ‘Deadpool’ is then chosen by Weasel who gets the idea from a bet written on his bar’s board that Wade will die soon. The pursue of Francis has made him chased by another mutants such as Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Lots of action, this movie is funny one. Full of humor since its beginning. It is very different from common superhero movies, which delivered by serious talks or actions. It might be boring for some who expect more in a superhero movie since it is less in dialogue; and more in personal narration of Deadpool himself. Similar to other superhero movies, it has a happy ending; Deadpool wins and manages to kill Francis and gets Vanessa back after being kidnapped by Francis and his gang.
